WOW these last few weeks have been crazily busy with custom orders which
I LOVE doing as well as a new collection for each market day.
I have had some great retro pieces coming through and everything always seems
to fall into place each market day. My last stall was a eclectic collection mixing
retro, vintage as well as upcycled pieces.
This super cute piece was unusual due to the drawers.
As soon as I saw it I visualised ombre blue. So happy how it turned out.
Next was this 5 drawer piece that had been snapped up by a customer.
This was to be made over as a tv cabinet in marine blue & white.
What a difference. I love how beachy this feels yet classic.
I love these desks they are so good for kids – teens or a computer desk that looks good.
I have such a soft spot for these legs. My custom paint job was for a young girl re-styling
her room. Colours Mint & Pink
SO fresh, sweet & super cool. I had a very happy girl at the market to pick this lovely up. Love it.
Another special girl piece, this one for a birthday surprise.
Colours soft yellow & pineapple
Loved the curves on this. This photo with the sun shinning on it looks amazing.
Close up the veneer was worn and so needed an update.
This will have an aqua backdrop, I am looking forward to seeing this one in its new home.
Here are a couple of pieces I did for my last market.
This amazing swivel chair is a great size.
I had the cushion recovered in a vintage tablecloth I had found many years ago.
Great colours for Autumn and it comes off to wash.
Such a comfy BIG chair which loads of character.
This old travel trunk has been one of my favourite things for a long time.
Imagine if it could talk all the tales it could tell. I decided it needed to be an upcycled piece
so could be a feature in any home. I had a small retro table with a lift lid.
The top had been badly burnt but the legs and base were in good order.
What a perfect match so the upcycled trunk table was designed and made.
Last of all for this blog is this super cool retro record player cabinet.
I mixed this colour by mistake and loved it. I wanted to keep the inside
original as well as the timber legs and dividers.
Black in the mix turned out to be perfect to create a cool retro look.
The three last pieces are yet to find a home.
To have a Kiss Create piece is to recycle, support a local business as well as
have a unique original piece just for you and your home.
Lots of reloving to come,
