I just love before and after photos. I have worked with some lovely customers on
custom orders designing together to create the perfect piece for their home.
Emma choose this piece from my new finds and wanted it as a TV cabinet.
Brief was timber with an off white and soft blue.
BEFORE
AFTER
The top varnish was peeling off and needed filling.
Luckily the drawers were in good condition.
The two middle drawers were taken out and shelves put in.
Timber came up lovely and the original hardware came up a treat.
Drawers all lined with of course retro wallpaper.
Here is is in its new home!
Next was this beauty.
Well not such a beauty when I first received this pic from Felicity.
Brief was white & red to match artwork.
BEFORE
AFTER
I travelled to Brisbane to paint this super cool piece.
Lots of taping to protect the timber.
I love how the timber looks with the white and red.

I was very excited by this next one. One of my finds that Chandell loved,
we worked together creating different designs options which I put together
on photoshop.
Brief was teal with white, grey or black.
BEFORE
AFTER
I loved the design of this piece & could visualise how cool it would look
with a little paint. It actually came out better than I imagined. I
contacted Chandell through the makeover as I throught we should try
re-stain timber from red to java instead of painting it. So glad we did.
Instead of using too many colours I stuck with the main colour teal
and used a white and very light grey so didn’t look to busy.
I kept the gold hardware, just restored it.
Love the colours with the timber. Chandell was very happy with it.
Finally, the last one. I just love this one.
Brief was green & white chosen from 4 colour schemes drafted in
photoshop.
BEFORE
AFTER
I just love the green with the gold and the white smartens it up.
There is two shade of green just to add a little drama.
Great feature piece with fab storage.
I think this may be enough before and afters for this blog. I do have
many more. All my favourite pieces are on my portfolio page.
I am currently working on some amazing pieces for customers and
have to take a break from doing markets full time to get back on top
of things. I am hoping to do another blog a lot sooner than this one.
Back to painting.
